Returning for its 17th year this Saturday 12th August, one-day Amsterdam festival Appelsap celebrates world-class hip-hop, R&B and electronic music alongside home-grown talent.

Originally conceived as a free block jam in 2000, it has since grown into a major event, introducing the latest in US and UK music to a mainly Dutch audience.

As well as Louisiana rap legend Lil Wayne, this year’s line-up features some of the hottest British acts of the last couple of years – including Dave, J Hus and 67 – along with one of UK radio’s top talents, Amy Becker, and funky house pioneers Crazy Cousinz.

Previous headliners include Kendrick Lamar, Rashad & Spinn, French Montana, Danny Brown, ScHoolboy Q and Machinedrum.
