Renowned afrobeat collective Antibalas will release new album 'Fu Chronicles' on February 7th.
The band have taken afrobeat into the 21st century, seizing on the legacy of pioneers such as Fela Kuti and steering it into fresh dimensions.
Faithful to the original sound yet with their own voice, Antibalas have crafted eight fantastic albums across a two decade career.
New album 'Fu Chronicles' is another milestone, and it lands on Daptone early next year.
Out on February 7th, it's led by new song 'Fight Am Finish' – opening in spacious, sparse territory, it moves into a potent, funky workout.
A sound that is often replicated but never bettered, 'Fight Am Finish' is pure, unadulterated afrobeat.
