Hotly tipped newcomers The Answering Machine recently toured the nation as part of the first ever Clash tour, and the band have posted a revealing new tour diary.
The Answering Machine formed in Manchester some time ago. Rehearsing furiously they developed some striking material before releasing their debut single ‘Oklahoma’ through October 16th.
Touring the country the band developed a savage live sound, before capturing the attention of their new home Hitch Or Die Records. The Answering Machine recently completed recording their debut album with noted producer Dave Eringa.
Titled ‘Another City, Another Sorry’ the new material soundtracked our recent Clash Live tour. Joined by Flashguns and Norwegian types Casiokids, the band cut a swathe through the nation with a series of raucous shows.
The group took a camera along with them in order to best document the carnage. Containing some hilarious moments, the video captures The Answering Machine at ease with themselves.
