Annie Macmanus, Huw Stephens To Present Mercury Prize ‘Albums Of The Year’ Programme

Including the unveiling of the winner...

Broadcasters Annie Macmanus and Huw Stephens will present a special 2024 Mercury Prize ‘albums of the year’ programme.

This year’s ceremony will be slightly different – eschewing glitz and glamour, it will take place at historic studio hub Abbey Road in London. Annie Macmanus and Huw Stephens will present a special Mercury Prize programme, featuring the 12 nominated acts coming together to celebrate one another’s work.

The overall winner will be announced on the night, following last year’s winners Ezra Collective.

Alongside this, 6Music have unveiled a full night of programming, from 7pm to 11pm. Redoubtable new music duo Tom Ravenscroft and Deb Grant will chair a special programme, with Matt Everitt interviewing the artists behind each of the 12 Albums of The Year.

The show contains the announcement of the overall winner – and the Mercury Pair 2024 album of the year will then be played out in full.
