Annie Clark x David Byrne Project Confirmed

'Love This Giant' due on September 11th

Annie Clark and David Byrne will release their collaborative album ‘Love This Giant’ on September 15th.

Long rumoured, the collaboration between Annie Clark and David Byrne came into focus earlier this year. Working on a full studio album, the pair have now confirmed details of a release through 4AD.

Titled ‘Love This Giant’ the full length collaboration will emerge on September 11th. Seemingly centred on brass, the album features appearances from both The Dap-Kings and Afrobeat heroes Antibalas.

“There was no delineating what the roles were,” Clark explained recently. “It’s a collaboration I’m truly proud of.”

Looking ahead, the pair will team up for a lengthy North American tour which opens on September 15th. “We’ll be doing these songs and a bunch of songs that we suspect people will know, with a group that includes eight brass players, a keyboardist and a drummer,” David Byrne explained.
