Animal Collective are set to release new single 'Applesauce' on November 12th.
Dense. Powerful. Difficult. Animal Collective released their new album 'Centipede Hz' earlier this year, packing a barrage of musical ideas onto one slender disc. Very much an album document, some fans will no doubt need an introduction, a puncture point to explore 'Centipede Hz'.
With that in mind, it's perhaps appropriate that Animal Collective are gearing up for a new single. Taken from the recent album, 'Applesauce' will be available from November 12th. Available digitally and on ten inch vinyl, the single comes backed with non-album cut 'Crimson'. Already part of the Animal Collective live show, 'Crimson' was part of a recent session on KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic.
