Out now, ‘a christmas wish’ arrives just in time for the beginning of Advent, the final run-in to Christmas itself. Tapping into the initial excitement of December – it snowed in many parts of the UK earlier today! – the song is a neat slice of oddball pop.

I had been waiting for the right opportunity to make a Christmas song as I wanted to make something really unique! What I really wanted to get across with ‘a christmas wish’ was a bit of self-empowerment. The holiday season can be a tough time for a lot of people, but I fundamentally believe that we all have the power within us to make our dreams come true. You don’t need to wait for a wish. You can do it! Sprinkle in a bit of festive magic and that’s how this song came about.
