London R&B risers No Guidnce have shared new EP ‘Is It A Crime?’ in full.
The group caught attention at the Great Escape, with their set on the TikTok Stage turning into an absolute roadblock. Little wonder, though – the four-piece are huge on social media, tapping into a new generation’s thirst for R&B.
Ripping apart Millennial tropes and injecting new ideas, a flurry of singles is now followed by a full EP. A bold creative gesture from No Guidnce, ‘Is It A Crime?’ is a soulful scorcher that comes just in time for the summer season.
Reaching out to key collaborators, the production and writing pool includes Victoria Monét (Ariana Grandé, Nas), JR Totem (Rihanna, Bad Bunny), Akeel Henry (Giveon, John Legend), Lunchmoney Lewis (Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne) and Theron Thomas (Lizzo, Usher).
Out now, title track ‘Is It A Crime?’ comes equipped with ‘luxe visuals directed by Ryan Jafarzadeh.
The new release comes as No Guidnce enter rehearsals for their biggest live show yet – picked by Mahalia to play her Presents… night at Lafayette on June 16th.
