Alice Phoebe Lou’s ‘Lose My Head’ Is A Funky Ode To Vulnerability

"I continually strive to show people the beauty of being vulnerable..."

Alice Phoebe Lou has shared new single ‘Lose My Head’.

The musical multi-hyphenate left South Africa for Berlin a decade ago, enticed by the city’s emphasis creative scene. Since then, she’s never looked back, releasing four excellent albums that have gradually defined her alt-pop vision.

Returning with new single ‘Shelter’ back in March, she’s ready to write a fresh chapter in her story. A string of releases have followed, with her latest single ‘Lose My Head’ now online in full.

The funky bassline acts as a wicked backdrop to her vocal, with Alice darting from a position of confidence to one of introspection. The reason? Well, it’s about falling in love, fusing the exhilaration of attraction with those lingering aspects of self-doubt.

A riveting performance, ‘Lose My Head’ is a neat return from the pop voice. Sharing more, Alice explains…

“It’s about loving and wanting, as well as the push and pull of passion. I continually strive to show people the beauty of being vulnerable and feeling all their feelings…”

Tune in now.
