Alice Auer Links With Conor Albert On ‘Unknown’

Out now on Young Poet...

Alice Auer returns with new single ‘Unknown’.

The songwriter blends an impassioned sense of soul with some outside influences, infusing her art with club tropes in the process. Recently supporting the likes of Nia Archives and ELIZA, her incoming EP ‘Baby, Cry’ lands on May 26th.

Lead single ‘Unknown’ is online now, and it features Alice working alongside Ninja Tune signee Conor Albert. A coy tale of moving on, it features a gentle jazz tone in the melody, while the elastic rhythm section is marshalled by Seth Tackaberry.

Conor Albert adds a different energy to the song, while Alice Auer sings: “I made it on my own / Well I don’t miss you anymore…”

A smooth bumper from a talent to watch, ‘Unknown’ is out now on Young Poet. Tune in below.
