Alex Izenberg has shared plans for his new album 'Caravan Château'.
The songwriter's 2016 album 'Harlequin' earned widespread praise, and since then Izenberg has embarked on some curious extra-curricular activities.
New song 'Lady' is a drifting jewel, one that places beguiling beauty against a slight hint of darkness: “The devil is alive in America”, he croons.
Out now, 'Lady' began life as an instrumental crafted by Ari Balouzian made for an upcoming film produced by Darren Aronofsky.
Alex Izenberg explains: "He FaceTimed me and showed it to me and I was really into it and he let me sing on it and have my own version..."
A heady slice of opaque musicality, 'Lady' leads the artist's new album, with 'Caravan Château' set to land on July 31st.
