Alessi Rose Shares New Single ‘oh my’

She's breaking out...

Alt-pop riser Alessi Rose has shared new single ‘oh my’.

The songwriter’s debut EP ‘rumination as ritual’ became an incredible moment for her, with each song connecting with fans. Alessi’s bold-as-brass live performances are already the stuff of legend, and her debut at Reading & Leeds Festival was a road-block on both sites.

Recently picked to open for Noah Kahan in Belfast, Alessi played to more than 40,000 people – not bad going for a newcomer.

The London-based, Derby-born musician rises once more on this new single, with ‘oh my’ out now.

A dose of alt-pop honesty from this breathlessly engaging artist, it speaks of the bravery needed to open up in the early days of a relationship, allowing someone to see you as you truly are.

She comments…

“’oh my’ depicts all of the idyllic parts of loving someone for the first time whilst also noting how awful it can feel when you’re not totally comfortable or secure and overthinking every angle of it. it’s about the time when you just want to be exactly what the other person wants, even if that’s not quite who you are.”

‘oh my’ comes with a video directed by Phoebe Lettice Thompson – check it out below.
