Tim Muddiman is one of British music's hidden heroes.
A frequent collaborator with Gary Numan and Pop Will Eat Itself, he's developed a distinctive voice on the fringes of the mainstream.
Working on his own material over a number of years, Tim Muddiman gathered a series of like minds to focus on a fresh project.
Tim Muddiman & The Strange were born, and their album 'Paradise Runs Deeper' is set to emerge shortly (pre-order HERE).
Out on September 9th, it's a curious beast – dark, electronic grooves mingling with rugged blues riffs. There's an element of Depeche Mode in here, but it also sounds like Jack White's fetid experiments with a drum machine.
To quote close friend Gary Numan: "I've watched Tim Muddiman & The Strange grow from a nervous idea into a beautifully crafted musical creation."
Clash has obtained the up-front stream… check it out now.
