The Strokes' guitarist Albert Hammond Jr. likes to stay busy.
Maintaining one of the most active solo careers of anyone in the New York band, he seems to pop up when fans least expect it.
Such as today. Albert Hammond Jr. has just announced new solo album 'Momentary Masters', with the ten-track record set to arrive on July 31st via Vagrant Records.
New track 'Born Slippy' is online now. Nothing to do with Underworld or Trainspotting, it's a clipped, controlled and sharply melodic return from the guitarist.
Check it out now.
