Alaina Castillo’s ‘no importa’ Is A Vivid Pop Statement

It's a seismic, hook-laden, latin-pop monster...

Alaina Castillo is having a moment.

Her debut EP 'antisocial butterfly' is incoming, and each new track from this Houston native sweeps across the internet in unstoppable fashion.

Co-written and co-produced by RØMANS, it's very much a personal statement, detailing her story as an 18 year old.

It's about being young, making mistakes, and moving past this, creating her own identity on her her own terms.

Previous single 'i don't love you anymore' with this down tempo hip-hop bubbler, a gorgeous return that was so evocative in its execution.

We're able to share the final preview from the EP, and 'no importa' showcases a different side to Alaina's identity.

A scorching latin-pop monster, it's a hook-laden return, one that is irresistibly catchy while offering something daring and new.

She comments: "The music showcases who I am as a person; sometimes struggling with being anxious and other times doing whatever makes me happy. My music tells my story and how up and down life can be, and I want to continue to tell that story to anyone who’ll listen."
