AIR Confirm Special ‘Moon Safari’ Shows

Playing the 1998 album in its entirety...

French group AIR will take their seminal album ‘Moon Safari’ out on tour this coming Spring.

The duo released the album in 1998, and it seemed to strike a global chord. Part of a wave of French talent reconfiguring electronic music from fresh perspectives, the record gained exultant reviews and spawned a series of hit singles.

‘Kelly Watch The Stars’,  ‘All I Need’ and ‘Sexy Boy’ cracked the charts, while the album itself sold millions of copies around the globe. With its 25th birthday approaching, AIR have decided to celebrate the album with a full tour.

The dates move around the continent – including a special night in Paris, and one of Amsterdam’s famed Paradiso – with AIR visiting London’s Coliseum on March 24th to play ‘Moon Safari’ in full.

Ticket pre-sale opens at 10am on Thursday (November 16th), before general sale opens at 10am the following day (November 17th).

AIR’s Jean-Benoît Dunckel comments: “We were a duo doing some electronic thing, dreaming of selling 10,000 copies and being recognised by other musicians as cool. Then suddenly, we met the world.”

This Friday – November 17th – will also witness the Apple Exclusive release of a Dolby Atmos Mix of ‘Moon Safari’, giving you an enhanced audio experience.
