The Last Shadow Puppets – a unique side project featuring Alex Tuner of Arctic Monkeys – are preparing to release their debut album.
The group, who also include The Rascals’ Miles Kane in their ranks, were apparently influenced by David Axelrod, early Bowie and Scott Walker. Sounds an intriguing proposition, and the album will be released through the Arctic Monkeys’ homestead of Domino Records.
Titled “Age Of The Understatement”, the debut album by The Last Shadow Puppets will be available from April 21st.
