Ah, the long tangled saga of Adele's third album.
'21' turned the Tottenham singer into a global star, pushing her further and further into the limelight. Taking some time off to have her first child, Adele has gradually segued back into the creative mindset.
The latest reports (via Pitchfork) indicate that the singer's third album will be released in November. Billboard reports that the record – rumoured to be called '25' – will contain a song written by Tobias Jesso Jr.
Alongside this, the cast also includes Max Martin, Danger Mouse, and OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder (who previously co-wrote 'Rumour Has It'). Adele and Tobias Jesso Jr. seem to mutual admirers of each other's work – Adele recently tweeted the video for Jesso's 'How Could You Babe'.
Speaking to Billboard, he said: "I haven’t met her but she tweeted the video for 'How Could You, Babe'. When I saw she did that, my hands got a little shaky and then I ran around my house like a 14-year-old girl. The video shot up at least 30,000 hits; I was used to getting 200 a year ago. If we ever did a duet of one of her songs, I’d take the verse, because there's no way I'd sing one of those choruses. It would just be disrespectful to anyone listening."
As yet, though, nothing concrete has been confirmed around the release of '25'.
