Adele has begun basic vocal training after enduring voice problems for much of 2011.
Adele is now is a phenomenon. One of 2011’s dominating artists, her voice has been heard around the world with second album ’21’ notching up chart record after chart record.
Recently suffering extensive throat problems, Adele was forced to undergo surgery in the United States. Returning to the UK, the singer is now working with experts to build up the power in her voice again.
UsMagazine has met with insiders who claim that Adele is now on the mend. “(Adele) is in a great place at the moment… She recently started some basic vocal training (but) she’s taking it slowly.”
Sadly, Adele can expect to have a quiet Christmas. “She’s not going out raving or drinking. It’s going to be really quiet” said the insider.
“(She) wants to keep a low profile. She’s hoping the first half of next year can be pretty low-key – no concerts, TV shows, magazine interviews, music or anything like that. As she puts it, she wants to just take it easy and enjoy a well deserved break, with no pressure to record or perform.”
’21’ was recently named the top selling British album of the 21st century, but fans shouldn’t expect a follow up any time soon. “I imagine I’ll be 25 or 26 by the time my next record comes out, as I haven’t even thought about my third record yet” she told Billboard.
“I’m just gonna lay some concrete, set up home and just be for a bit. I’ll disappear and come back with a record when it’s good enough. There will be no new music until it’s good enough and until I’m ready.”
