Montreal's Ada Lea soared back into our lives recently, ushering new album 'What we say in private' into the waiting out.
Out now, it's a fine, enriching return, with the Clash review opining:
"The album feels like a collaboration between heartbreak and new hope, traditional and new, and the internal and external..."
A series of UK shows have been lined up, with Ada Lea now sharing the full video for album highlight '180 days'.
There's an eerie, almost fantastical tone to the clip, as if we've been transplanted into somebody's daydream.
The VHS effects have a gritty element to them, matching the raw nature of Ada Lea's musicality.
Of the song itself, she explains...
"During that period of 180 days, I often wondered what it would be like if I ever reached the other side; a seemingly unattainable goal. This song is an homage to that dream-like period."
Tune in now.
