Aby Coulibaly has shared plans for her debut EP ‘At The End Of The Day, It’s Night’.
The Dublin artist shot to prominence with her excellent 2020 debut single ‘Taurus’, following this with a string of R&B-leaning jewels. A stellar vocalist, she seems to imbue everything she touches with a rare sense of emotion.
Clash caught up with the songwriter last year, and found an artist with incredible patience. Methodically piecing together her debut EP, she’s now ready to reveal the details.
Incoming EP ‘At The End Of The Day, It’s Night’ lands in March, set to be released via her co-founded collective Chamomile Club and AMF Records.

Aby explains that the song is about “looking back on a moment/time where you wish you did things differently, whether that’s speak your mind more, stick up for yourself or just say something you didn’t have the courage to at the time. I was picked on as a kid which led to me being more quiet/insecure and just unsure of myself for a long long time.”
The visuals were self-directed, with the clip tapping into a vintage Hollywood sense of glamour – although it was actually shot in Paris and Dublin.
