Aby Coulibaly has shared her beautiful new single ‘Big Pharma (Withdrawal)’.
The Dublin artist has a real potency to her work, blending aspects of R&B, pop, and indie as one singular whole. Heading up the music-rooted collective Chamomile Club, Aby Coulibaly has a passion for supporting and uplifting other voices.
Out now, new single ‘Big Pharma (Withdrawl)’ follows her debut EP ‘At The End Of The Day… It’s Night’. Released earlier this year on AMF Records, the EP illustrates Aby’s gift for framing her feelings with narrative-led lyrical sketches and gorgeous vocals.
Set to support Olivia Dean on her Spring ’24 tour, Aby presages with this an all-new single. Potent and personal, ‘Big Pharma (Withdrawal)’ is one of her most intimate moments yet, a song that refuses to flinch from uncomfortable truths.
She says…
This song is about a condition I have called TSW. It’s something that affects me every day and I wanted to be vulnerable and talk about it because I’d like to normalise talking about the hard times as well as the good. No matter what you’re struggling with you’re not alone.
A work of striking empathy, this new single positions Aby Coulibaly as an artist who could breakout in 2024 – tune in now.
