A$AP Ferg has shared his new album ‘Darold’ in full.
A$AP Mob’s message has always been from New York to the world, taking their sound around the globe. For his new album A$AP Ferg dials back into his roots, matching a slew of Harlem talent to some international peers.
Out now, ‘Darold’ includes some favoured newgen – DD Osama and Bloody Osiris – with the likes of Dapper Dan also featuring.
Revered heroes such as Mary J Blige and Coco Jones also appear, while UK vocalist Elmiene sings the hook on moving song ‘Dead Homies’ and ‘Pool’.
In a note, A$AP Ferg said he sought out artists who “embody that Harlem energy” – something he describes as “very alive, super colourful, flamboyant and loud.”
