Aayliah’s hits have just appeared on Apple Music, after a long digital absence.

Many of the late singer’s best-loved tracks were previously unavailable online, but – as Pitchfork points out – they were listed on Apple Music a few hours ago.

The 2005 ‘Ultimate’ compilation features the likes of ‘One In A Million’ and ‘Try Again’, a 25 track introduction to one of R&B’s brightest talents.

As Complex recently highlighted, Aaliyah’s music was largely unavailable online, with the rights held by the late singer’s uncle Barry Hankerson.

In 2013 a number of Aaliyah tracks were uploaded to iTunes by a distribution company called Craze Digital, resulting in a lawsuit.

It’s worth pointing out, then, that the Apple Music page for ‘Ultimate’ mentions a company named Craze Productions.
