New York’s premier noise merchants A Place To Bury Strangers have announced the release of a new single as well as dates for a full UK tour later this year.

Industrial combo A Place To Bury Strangers will release ‘In Your Heart’ on September 21st through new label Mute, with a UK-wide tour to follow in November.

‘In Your Heart’ will feature remixes from Cereal Spiller and Mute label-mate Vince Clarke plus an exclusive non-album B-side, ‘Strictly Looks’.

Vocalist/guitarist Oliver Ackerman is clearly excited about the track, he said: “We started playing this song out of the blue and I thought it was just too damn good to not lay down on tape that day. Of course, that just turned out to be the demo, but this is that song, written in one day. I feel like it is a great midpoint between the more melodic and rocking sides of this band.”

The track was recorded at Death By Audio, a “DIY or die” recording and rehearsal space Ackerman helped to build in 2005. The complex also houses an independent live venue and living space.

Famed for their visceral live performances, A Place To Bury Strangers have are steadily building up an increasingly fervent UK fan-base and the November tour will call at famous north London venue, Relentless Garage.

The band play at the Reading and Leeds Festivals this weekend before returning to tour the UK in November.
