The full nominations for this year's Jazz FM Awards have been announced.
The annual ceremony is a celebration of the past, present, and future of jazz, and this year is no exception.
The nominations were announced a few moments ago, and the new wave of jazz talent in the UK is heavily represented.
Nubya Garcia, Emma Jean-Thackray, Joe Armon-Jones, Moses Boyd, and Poppy Ajudha have all gained nods, alongside South London collective Steam Down.
Indeed, Kamasi Washington's impromptu set at their Deptford residency has gained a nomination in the Best Live Experience category.
John Coltrane's 'lost' album 'Both Directions At Once: The Lost Album' is up for Album of The Year, competing against Sons Of Kemet, Brownswood's We Out Here compilation, and Charles Lloyd & The Marvels + Lucinda William.
