Wild Nothing – A Dancing Shell

Stripped from their new EP...

Serendipity – that's the word we would use to describe Wild Nothing.

A project for Jack Tatum, the group found fame almost accidentally. Fusing dream pop guitars with snippets of synths, their blissful songcraft was matched to an utterly unique sense of nostalgia.

Continually to experiment, Wild Nothing recently entered Gary’s Electric in Brooklyn to record new material. Working with Al Carlson back in January, the band decided to include new instruments, new methods of working.

Featuring new paintings and illustrations from Eric Shaw, upcoming EP 'Empty Estate' is set to be released on May 27th. Ahead of this, Wild Nothing have placed the video for new track 'A Dancing Shell' online.

Boasting some cute animation, it's slight 80s feel matches the awkward, Talking Heads style funk of the track itself.

Watch it now.
