There are bands to like, bands to love, and then there are bands to lose your shit to for half an hour and emerge at the end of the experience wishing you could see them on stage every night for, if not the rest of your life (we all need sleep), certainly the next week or so.
Enter: Dananananaykroyd. We’ve raved about ‘em plenty of times already on ClashMusic.com – check out an exclusive interview HERE and a live review from Paris HERE – and now they’re about to explode into the faces of a wider audience with the release of their debut album, ‘Hey Everyone!’, out April 6. Ahead of the sextet’s album is a single, ‘Black Wax’. It’s resoundingly all killer, but mercifully nothing like THE Killers, who are some other band that made it big off the back of sounding A Lot Like Other Bands Before Them. Dana sound like Dana: simple as.
