‘Not safe for work’ seems to be a phrase we’re using a lot in the video section right now.
Fresh from M.I.A.’s ginger slaughtering antics, UNKLE have decided to spring another eye opening clip on us. ‘Follow Me Down’ is taken from their new album, and features some blistering psych rock.
A collaboration with Sleepy Sun, the single sounds like trip hop re-tooled for the ATP generation. Sun kissed rock ‘n’ roll, the track is matched with an already much talked about video.
Directed by Warren du Preez and Nick Thorton Jones, the video features renowned supermodel Liberty Ross writhing to the music. Dressed only in body paint.
One for the lads? Perhaps, but the video avoids being purely exploitative, playing with the imagery of the naked body and also allowing Liberty Ross full expression as the music unravels in the background.
Watch it now…
