Trust Fund – ‘Cut Me Out’

Cute doggies alert!

A pertinent question: just what is it about Bristol?

The city has always boasted a thriving independent scene, ranging from the post-punk of The Pop Group and their ilk or the area’s stunning bass lineage.

Right now, Bristol’s DIY scene seems to be focussing on a handful of sparkling guitar groups. Trust Fund are leading the way, with their debut album ‘No one’s coming for us’ due to be released through Turnstile on February 9th.

Ahead of this, the band have unveiled new track ‘Cut Me Out’. Tattered at the edges, this is sublime grunge pop on a par with early Weezer, say, or even Lou Barlow’s more lucid moments.

The accompanying video features Trust Fund playing with a series of cute dogs. Seriously, what’s not to like?
