'Dancing's Done', the debut single from Thumpers, is released on February 4th, with the 7" available from ParadYse Records.
It's a rabble rousing, festival moment in the making, indie anthem, delivered with earnest faces by the London based duo. Those faces appear in the video, layered over scrolling scenery, and will be instantly recognisable to anyone who thought South East London, specifically New Cross, was the centre of the universe circa 2006 and saw former Klaxons housemates Pull Tiger Tail play live.
Having downsized from a trio to a duo, Marcus Pepperrell takes care of vocals, guitars and keyboards, with John Hamson Jr. taking care drums and bass, as well as lending his voice. Having recorded the track in their hometown Thumpers even got their siblings to lend guest vocals to B-side 'Sound Of Screams', showcasing the DIY ethos that has facilitated this release.
