There's always been an inherently organic feel to Villagers' music.
From those early releases right through to last year's 'The Art Of Pretending To Swim', the work of Conor O'Brien has felt natural, poetic, unhurried.
Taking creativity at its own speed, the Irish songwriter has built a catalogue that is immediate and accessible, yet contains hidden depths, a huge variation.
Set to play a flurry of shows later this month, Villagers then hop on board the Mumford & Sons tour for some of their largest dates yet.
Ahead of all this, though, the project decided to shoot a stripped back, highly affecting version of recent album cut 'Again'.
Taken from 'The Art Of Pretending To Swim', there's a soothing tenderness in Conor's delivery, while the sparsity of the arrangement cuts clean to the bone.
