It's a small world.
The Vaccines are one of the biggest bands in the country, with their second album crashing into the charts at number one. Guitarist Freddie Cowan should have some idea of what to expect from all this success, though – his brother Tom performs in The Horrors.
It's a family connection which binds The Vaccines' new single. 'Bad Mood' comes equipped with a previously unreleased B-side, continuing the band's pattern of allowing each of their four members to place a brand new track on the flip of a single.
Freddie Cowan's effort is produced by his brother, echoing claims the guitarist made to ClashMusic last year: "There’s a concept of all four singles, but there’s a different girl on every cover, and every member of the band has to write and record their own b-side. Well, I’m probably going to do mine with my brother (Tom Furse). I asked him to produce and he’s really up for doing it."
Out now on seven inch vinyl and digital download, you can watch the video for 'Bad Mood' now.
