The Holy Channel A Dark Motorik Groove On ‘Land Before Time’

It's a bold return set in shadow-laden snowscapes...

Finland's The Holy have a dark, twisted sound, taking American indie rock influences and retooling them in a suitably Nordic fashion.

Part of a wave of groups upending expectations of the Finnish underground, The Holy's five-piece line up seem ready to produce something special.

New song 'Land Before Time' channels a barbed motorik groove, a barren, black-clad sense of percussive post-punk.

There's beauty in there too, a textured, layered return that promises much from their debut album 'Daughter', set to be unleashed later this year.

Juho Länsiharj directs the visuals, placing The Holy in a night-capped snowscape, lost in a solemn sense of beauty.
