The trailer for The Flaming Lips’ sci-fi extravaganza ‘Christmas On Mars’ has finally surfaced with plans for a Christmas DVD release.
The film has been in production since 2001 and was premiered in May this year at the suitably named Sasquatch! Music Festival.
The plot concerns an American base on Mars which is saved from itself by an Alien super being, played with a certain inevitability by a green skinned Wayne Coyne, who also directed the film, and who dons a Father Christmas costume to add to the surreal nature of the proceedings.
