The Family Rain have shared new single ‘Gasoline’.
Out now, it is the band’s first song since 2021, a ballsy guitar anthem with raw production. The band label it a “self-glorifying party anthem and rock and roll hype track”, which basically gets to the heart of the matter.
Produced by Tom Dalgety, there are now two videos for ‘Gasoline’. The first takes you to the streets of Bath, and features Will Walter as Beelzebub himself, the Devil – a figure who sets the town alight. There’s also a live clip, showing The Family Rain going full throttle.
“It’s a sonic pick-me-up. Something that our favourite bands (AC/DC, The Rolling Stones) nailed, and what current guitar music shies away from,” the band explain. “We wanted to go all the way with this track and make the listener feel like Scarface on steroids. We know it’s only rock and roll… but we adore it”.
