Not for them the interminable micro-genres, the continual splicing of movements into cliques. Instead, the London duo just pick tunes which move them and – most importantly – the dancefloor.
Debut album ‘Mega Mega Mega’ arrived earlier this summer, and saw The Count And Sinden make good on their early promise. With a few guest appearances from Katy B, Bashy and Mystery Jets the record was nothing if not eclectic.
A stunning first blast, ‘Mega Mega Mega’ refused to take itself seriously, but in the process made people like us take The Count And Sinden very seriously indeed.
