Teeth Of The Sea – Master

Are you s(h)itting comfortably...?

We hope you got your breakfast down a while ago, and have already sorted yourself out in the bathroom, as if not: you might be blowing it out of both ends after seeing this.

London's standout sonic terrorists Teeth Of The Sea are about to release their third studio set, 'MASTER', via Rocket Recordings. It follows the awesomely received 'Your Mercury' LP of 2010, about which The Quietus commented: "Teeth Of The Sea are the love child of Delia Derbyshire and Ming The Merciless, proof that experimental derring-do and imperial pop style need not be mutually exclusive.” We're pretty sure that translates as "most excellent".

Having played with acts including British Sea Power, Wire and Goat, Teeth Of The Sea are taking 'MASTER' on the road in October, alongside the similarly boundaries-bumping Thought Forms and Esben And The Witch. If you like the sound of that, find dates and tickets here.

Meantime, why not check out this kinda terrifying preview clip for 'MASTER'. We don't know for certain what they've been putting in their tea, these chaps, but we suspect it's the same poison Chris Cunningham was into around the time of that Aphex Twin video.

Certainly a guts-loosener, ain't it.

'MASTER' is released on October 7th. Find its makers online: Twitter / Facebook
