Copenhagen is a harbour town, with countless nations, cultures, nationalities passing through its gates.
Opening itself up to new influences, the city has a bustling music scene where everyone seems to be in about five different bands. Andreas Asingh, though, is somewhat different: he's decided to turn five different bands into one venture.
SLOWOLF are difficult to define. Sometimes a solo venture, other times a group, Andreas Asingh at all times remains the musical spearhead. Dipping into metal, hip hop, dream pop and electronics the music tagged as SLOWOLF is buoyed by a demented sense of creativity.
New single 'Dance Floor' is a neat introduction, though. Perhaps the most linear, cohesive track to bear the SLOWOLF name it opens with furious, near Industrial beats before giving way to a goofy, thrash metal riff.
Swapping contagious vocals with blistering synths, SLOWOLF even managed to grab hip hop icon Raekwon for a few rhymes. Out on April 21st, SLOWOLF recently shot an astonishing live session.
Performing 'Dance Floor' this epic rendition retains the energy levels of the studio recording but is – if anything – even more raw.
Watch it now.
