Robinson Serves Up Boys’ Hearts In ‘Karma’

It's a stellar return from the New Zealand pop prodigy...

New Zealand pop riser Robinson seems to ace it with every new release.

Upping the ante with each single, Robinson's innate pop flair is matched to raw ambition. Take new single 'Karma'.

It's an instantly infectious pop burner, the kind of creative statement the likes of Sigrid and ALMA have made their own.

The video finds Robinson serving up boys' hearts on a plate, and she's the star at the centre of it all.

Robinson explains: “It was so much fun to film. I wanted to challenge myself and make sure it felt different to anything I had done before, but still remain true to me and what feels true to me creatively. Overall, it was just such a positive experience and I hope people can see that when watching it!”

The video was directed by Chlöe Hughes, who comments:

“With this video we had an unstoppable team. We created a love letter to all the ‘fuck boys’ out there who are messing with people’s emotions and facing none of the consequences. I feel like in this new age of online love and dating apps, relationships now seem so disposable. Here we showed a sillier side of heartbreak where loving yourself and taking no BS always comes out on top.”
