Hailing from Birmingham, Victories At Sea formed just over a year ago. In that time, though, the group have been able to make an enormous impression, refining their synth driven noise pop to a fine degree.
Working with Static Caravan, new single ‘Up’ is out today (January 12th). All spiralling electronics, mechanised drum beats and impassioned vocals, it’s as imposing a return as you could imagine.
For the accompanying video, Victories At Sea have shot an unusual performance clip. Showered in distorted colour, the visuals for ‘Up’ reflect the serrated music underneath.
