Premiere: Two – ‘Angels’

Dark-folk songwriting with a sense of longing...

Two have that natural, easy-flowing chemistry that makes most songwriting partnerships work.

Numbering Gemma Rogers and Alfie Jackson (once of The Holloways, fact fans) the pair are busy finishing off their new EP, with 'Great Expectations' set to land in the opening weeks of 2019.

Finishing the year with a new single and an intimate London live show, Two are ready to share something special.

A graceful, slow-moving return, 'Angels' has a frosted feel, with Gemma Rogers asking: "Have you ever been to hell and back? I don't think so…"

The subtle folk elements linger against a slight film noir atmosphere, something that comes to the fore in the full video.

Stylishly shot using a pared down colour palette and bursts of monochrome, it's the perfect primer for their minimalist pop aesthetic.

Tune in now.

Catch Two at Empire Bar in Hackney Central, London this Friday (December 14th).
