Premiere: Tigercats – ‘Wheezer’

More than just an impeccable pun...

Tigercats have a wry, infectious sense of humour.

It's a weapon used, though, to break people's hearts. The band switch between light and shade, humour and darkness in just a few notes, with Tigercats' new album 'Mysteries' charting their artistic development.

Clash is able to premiere the video for new track 'Wheezer'. More than just an impeccable pun, it's a distillation of the band's approach – breezily infectious yet strangely melancholic, it's an enticing offering from a beguiling group.

As frontman Duncan Barratt cagily puts it, "I don't want to say what this song is about, the record's not called Mysteries for nothing. Although this one is just a small, silly mystery and it should be pretty easy to work out – the clue is in the title".

Check out the video below.

Catch Tigercats at the End Of The Road club night in London's Shacklewell Arms on June 12th.
