From Afrika Bambaataa to Low End Theory, rap has always explored electronic climes.
However few projects have sounded like The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen. A melting pot of influences, production is steered by Simon Muschinsky while Californian rapper NOTE supplies some uncompromising lyrics.
New track 'Starship Troopers' matches liquid funk to crystalline electronics, with Christina Amundsen supplying her second video for the project.
Premiering on Clash, the director had the following to say:
"It's exciting to work in a location like the desert, and to use it in collaboration with a dancer – to create the visuals and movements that work together with the music. After having worked with League of Extraordinary Gentlemen over a longer period of time, it was also important to create a video that reflects their musical collaboration, and it was interesting to add a dance element to it."
