Australia seems to be in the grips of a pop renaissance.
Artists such as Iggy Azalea have put the country back on the international map, with a host of newcomers set to follow suit.
Rising producer The Kite String Tangle is a case in point. Continually inventive, his slick house sound has a soulful edge, not least in his choice of collaborator.
Nominated at this year's ARIA Awards, the producer is clearly about to make his mark. In reality Brisbane-based Danny Harley, The Kite String Tangle has already become a web sensation.
Setting his sights on the UK, new single 'Stone Cold' is due to be released shortly. Amidst the hazy, pastoral production there's a nagging melancholy, a slight chill to the touch which suggest that everything isn't quite alright.
