Which is how the musicians in The King's Parade found themselves on a cruise ship, thousands of miles from shore.
An intense learning curve, the experience brought the band together and supplied them with countless hours to hone their craft.
Returning to London, the group hit the gig circuit, unleashing some of that pent up energy in the process. Winning a devoted cult following, The King's Parade capped a life-changing 12 months last week with a sold out headline show at Hackney's Oslo venue.
