It's funny how certain sounds float in and out of fashion.
Glancing at the charts, it's difficult to find many guitar bands – let alone guitar bands informed by classic 60s psych-pop.
But, in our eyes at least, well written, well sung and well produced psych-pop will never stop being in demand.
The Incredible Magpie Band have been gathering attention for a while, penning three minute vignettes which sound like those classic Byrds cuts, lost Liverpool legends The La's or even the Fab Four themselves.
Debut album 'Introducing…' will be released on May 11th, but ahead of this Clash is able to premiere the video for 'Straight Lines'.
Gorgeous, chiming harmonies matched against pounding drums, it's an impressive opening statement.
