Toasting its tenth anniversary last year, Arts & Crafts have helped to revolutionise the way Canadian music is perceived.
Yet they're not stopping here. The imprint is continuing to sign new acts, new artists who are helping to re-invigorate their roster.
The Darcys are firm members of the Arts & Crafts family, recording new album 'Warring' at the tail end of 2013.
Based in Toronto, the band have a widescreen approach to songwriting, with their music fusing delicate, organic arrangements to flecks of electronics.
New track 'The Pacific Theatre' is based around little more than Jason Couse's voice and languid piano, with digital effects piercing through the emotive songwriting.
The video for the track finds Couse alone at the piano – shot in black and white, it's a beautifully stark introduction.
Watch it now.
