Team Me can match soaring, explosive energy to lyrics that dwell on introverted, melancholic themes.
New track 'June' is the perfect example. The chorus has an epic, Arcade Fire feel – with some added pop nous sprinkled on top – while the words themselves deal with mental illness.
Frontman Marius Hagen explains: "The song is about someone turning loopy, and how scary and f**ked up it can be for everyone involved."
The accompanying visuals open with a snowy-haired lead character having a hell of a time – before taking off into the Norwegian countryside. Director Andreas Luksepp adds: "The older man is called Tommy. He is feeling mentally younger than he is and trapped in an old body. Through the film, we see him following rednecks from Toten on their road trip to Oslo."
