When an artist opening describes one of their tracks as "one of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever written" then it's time to sit up and take notice.
Sway Clarke isn't one to over-state things – the songwriter is humble to a fault, modest in a rather endearing way.
But then, new cut 'Tangerine' might well be his most beautiful song yet. The track spirals around a sample from Ghostly-aligned producer Tycho, and it's a meditative piece of digital soul.
Out now on his 'Bad Love' EP, 'Tangerine' is a work of soft maturity, one that unfolds with a real sense of grace.
